We woke up to a gloomy day at Riverbend after serious rain overnight.  After breakfast we asked the campground folks about renting kayaks – very reasonable at $20/day/kayak, and when the nice lady (Andrea) came to unlock them she brought us chocolate chip cookies!

After kayaking and lunch, we each contributed to the trip.  Tom researched campsites and places and things to do, while Scott stayed out of his way by napping.

After lunch we took another longer kayak run, then left for dinner at a downtown lakefront restaurant Hula Hut https://www.hulahut.com/ . 

We knew it would be tight getting back before the came, but when we heard the game started at 5:30PM CST, we figured that the coverage started at 5:30PM, but the game started at 6pm.  We were wrong and we missed the first part of the game.

Exciting game that went into overtime – As everybody knows, Taylor Swift and her boyfriend’s team won eventually.
