Upon arriving at the site, park the RV so that is it nearly level and for best access to:
Power (max 80 ft)
Water (max 50 ft)
Sewer (max 20 ft)
and ensure clearance for the slide and awning.
Set the parking brake.
Keep the RV running to enable lowering of the leveling jacks and extension of the slide.
- Turn On the leveling jack system power.
- Wait for the indicator lights to stabilize.
- Only the Power, Ignition On and each Jack’s lights should be on.
- Avoid rocking the RV and press the Auto Level button.
- When the Operating light goes out, check to make sure each jack’s foot is in contact with the ground.
- If not, press the All Retrack button and try again.
- Confirm the clearance for the slide and make sure nothing in the RV might prevent it from extending.
- Press the slide Out button until the slide stops.
- Turn Off the ignition.
- Turn Off the leveling jack system power.
Open the RV door and turn Off the step retractor, if you haven’t already done so.
If Water is available:
- Connect the white hose to the source.
- Connect a second white hose if required.
- Connect the hose to the water inlet (passing the hose through the bottom access hole).
- Make sure the Water Valve selection is set to Normal.
- Turn on the water at the source.
For Hot water:
- Make sure the water heater power on the heater (external) is set to On.
- Set the operating mode switch in the bathroom to Eco.
- If you plan to take a shower soon, you can switch from Eco to Comfort mode in advance of your shower.
- Set the operating mode to Eco or Off if you do not plan to use hot water for a while.
If external Electric is available:
- Make sure the AC and any large electrical load is off.
- Pull out the 30 Amp cord and open the pass-through by turning the latches and snapping the cover down.
- Connect the plug to the source (use the extension and adapter if necessary).
If Sewer is available:
- Remove the RV sewer drain cover.
- Connect the sewer hose to the RV sewer drain
- Use the hose support and extend the sewer hose to the sewer.
- Connect the sewer hose to the sewer.
- Pull the Black water and Gray water valves open. If you do not do this, the tanks might overflow!
If Water is not available:
- Plan ahead and ensure the freshwater tank is full.
- When set up at the site, turn on the water pump.
- Monitor the water level in the tank to avoid running out.
If Electric is not available and you plan to use the generator:
- Turn On the generator in the cabinet over the range.
- Wait for the display to indicate it is safe to start.
- Press and hold the start button until it starts.
- Release the button once it has started.
- The generator will stop drawing fuel from the tank when it is about 1/4 full, so you do not need to worry about monitoring the fuel.
If Electric is not available and you plan to use the alternator:
- Turn On the Inverter in the cabinet over the range.
- Do not plan to use high current loads like the A/C or the oven.
- The microwave may be used for short periods of time.
- Monitor the battery level while using the inverter.
If Sewer is not available:
- Monitor the levels in the Black and Gray water tanks to avoid overflows!
